Mill Ridge is an intimate and unique family resort located 8 miles southwest of Boone, North Carolina on Highway 105. We are centrally located near Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk, North Carolina which makes our location the perfect place to rent one of our gorgeous vacation rentals. Fine restaurants, shopping and day excursions are all minutes away. In addition to all of the attractions, golf and ski resorts, Mill Ridge are only ten minutes from Hawksnest's new Zip Line tours.
The community is a second home to many residents who live off the mountain and who make Mill Ridge their home away from home for weekends, weeks and summers of mountain enjoyment. For those of you looking for the perfect mountain, vacation getaway, Mill Ridge offers the perfect combination of vacationing within a resort area that offers its own activities and community flavor...as well as a convenient lodging option that is right in the middle to all that makes the High Country a great place to visit.
While staying as a guest at Mill Ridge, you are welcome to enjoy our swimming facilities, tennis courts, duck ponds, trout fishing in the nearby Watauga River, or hiking nearby trails. Restaurants and shopping are conveniently located.
All of our attractive, privately owned, rental properties offer fully furnished kitchens, cable television, telephones, scenic decks, and most have wood burning fireplaces. Some are furnished for extended visits with laundry facilities.
Chalet Rentals are available from two to thirty or more days in length, and provide a unique atmosphere for weekend getaways, family gatherings during the holidays or extended visits to the High Country.
